Description: Originally, our plan for doing this poster was to just put four Zs in the middle of the sheet. But, with the Clarendon wood type we are using we only have 1 outline and 1 solid Z.

Ray said, "How about 'endurance letterpress?" Everyone said that would be "OK." Jill was fooling around with the word endurance, trying to break it different ways, and came up with his arrangement. UNRACE is the fact that they aren't racing today. RACE is the Tour. END is that we want this REST day to UNREST so we can get to the Alps. How nice does that work out?

We were going to actually take a bit of a break after 16 days of this project, but then handrolling is so much fun. So, two handrolled areas (these small ones are pretty quick, but they still take at least 4 times as long as just plain printing), and two other press runs and we were done.

We didn't want to be completely lazy so we decided we would take the word 'letterpress' and use our new Reubens wood type we just made and make it diagonal. Just as we were getting ready to print we came up with 'letterpause.' I'm not sure anyone would get that without reading this description. Oh, well.

The current standings remain the same because of the rest day.

Thomas Voeckler in 1st place - 00'00"
Frank Schleck in 2nd place - 01'49"
Cadel Evans in 3rd place - 02'06"
Andy Schleck in 4th place - 02'15"
Alberto Contador in 7th place - 04'00"

Thomas Voeckler will once again wear the Yellow Jersey on Stage 16 with a collective time of 65h 24'34". Ahhh, the Alps start today (we are writing this on Tuesday).

Our effort to this point is 252h 20'28" with the total number of runs standing at 92.
