Handmade books are wonderful objects that make beautiful and personal gifts. They can be tailored to fit a variety of uses and covers can focus on any subject.

One day, one book

This is bookbinding on caffeine. Get your hands on the basics from pastepaper to sewing a text block to attaching a hard cover. Take home the book you made from scratch all in a day’s work. Read more

Pastepaper primer

Get in touch with your colorful inner child. Basic tools, tips and techniques combine with classic bookmaker’s technicolor wheat paste to make original designs for covering books or other personal projects. Read more
