Zoom gathering options

I’m hot to do this with all of you, so I’m scheduling a ZOOM meeting MONDAY, JUNE 2 at 7pm EST. If you can’t make this one, there will be a next one.

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/2416792056

So far, 32 VC grads seem interested in initiating discussion with classmates and other grads through Zoom (see list below) and I’d like to help. Personally, I’d love to know where your lives have taken you.

I’m imagining that someone from each graduating class would volunteer to organize a date / time for your specific class. Be sure to pass along this opportunity to any of your fellow classmates you’re in contact with. Right now the only upcoming evening I’m not available is June 17. And if you want to just pick a date a week or so into the future, and I’ll schedule it. You don’t need more than yourself. I’d love to hear from you. If people can’t make it, they just can’t make it. Try it again.

These RECITATION RAMBLE meetings can be during the day or evening, weekday or weekend. We might consider including the year before and after your class, but with a focus on the specific class year.

Pass this email along to ANY classmates you are in contact with. ENCOURAGE THEM TO SIGN UP at the bottom of the opening page of Jill’s and my website at Leadgraffiti.com.

I’m doing all of this through our Squarespace website, so excuse the Lead Graffiti promotion which I haven’t figured out how to avoid.

FOUR ADDITIONAL POINTS.

Don’t stress out over where your career or life has taken you. Change is good. Many grads have become artists, teachers, nurses, raised families, etc. Feel free to bring your family into the discussion. Friendships and shared experiences are what’s important. Let’s get together and relish the roads less traveled. I’ll record the gatherings, though not exactly sure what I’d do with them at the moment.

Check out the VC timeline I’ve been putting together showing the beginning of the program through 2006. And please contribute any happenings that I’ve left out or forgotten (I’m old). Bill Deering and I are going to start sitting and recording stories that I plan to post as links in the timeline.

Meetings will be posted on Lead Graffiti’s website CALENDAR (located in the upper navigation). So, pick a date and then see if you can get anyone to join in.

Keep things positive. Generally, let’s also try to keep politics out of the discussion. This is going to be fun and I can’t wait to see and hear all of you on Monday at our first RECITATION RAMBLE.
