Out of chaos comes A B C

THIS IS INTENDED TO BE THE FIRST in a series (we hope) of type specimen posters celebrating the joyous simplicity of the alphabet and the incredible variety letterforms can have.

The coloring and the "chaos" in the name come from one of our 2015 series of Tour de Lead Graffiti prints, Stage 8 broadside (the center of the available images).

For a look at letterpress in action during the printing of Alphabetachaos, check out this short time-lapse film of Ray & Jill locking up and hand rolling the 3rd grouping of letters in yellow and green inks.

And if you're a glutton for punishment like we are, take a look at image #3 of a 1,000-piece puzzle (not for sale) that we had the Alphabetachaos image turned into just to see if it would work. It seemed like a good idea at the time to purposely expand those white edges. The puzzle did turn out cool, but all those extra white edge pieces were a touch beyond challenging and a lot less fun than we hoped.
