Upper Chesapeake Book Arts will meet at Lead Graffiti (120A Sandy Drive, Newark). If you are interested in bookmaking and the book arts, please drop by and see what’s happening. There is free parking and snacks. Enter the parking lot door.

Agenda for the evening: Caroline Brown will lead a discussion and show-and-tell about collage (collage, not college). She will share some of her collage work, some engaging illustrations in books, and a fun technique for creating unique collage paper. If you have done any work with collage or have books that use it creatively, please bring them to share.

At this meeting, the theme and size of our Group Book will be determined. This meeting is the commitment deadline for those who intend to participate. The number of completed pages each person must bring to the meeting on Wednesday, June 19th, will determine the number of completed pages each person must bring. Depending on the technique used to bind the book, we may start the binding process on June 19th.
